Biography:

Following the sinking of the Titanic, Vlado Ahmić experienced lots of hardship and stress, being mentally scarred by the disaster, having witnessed the deaths of so many people, and being known as one of the few survivors from the Balkans.

Finally he settled down in London, choosing to live in Europe instead of North America. Having gone to medical school, he went on to work in a hospital.

Eventually the war broke out, and Vlado chose to join the RAMC (Royal Army Medical Corps). He worked on a few hospital ships in the first half of the war, going from one ship to another.

Then in November of 1916, he joined the Britannic. The sister ship to the Titanic. But this one was larger, painted white with red crosses. It looked like a beast, but a friendly beast. Shoving his old trauma from the Titanic to the back of his mind, he gathered his things and set out for Southampton. He didn't know that this would be the final voyage of the Britannic.
